ABOUT BASTET:
Known as one of the main goddesses of the Egyptian pantheon, Bastet was a goddess of cats, the sun, the East, fire, love, intoxication, music, dancing, joy, celebration, fertility, secrets, magic, and sex. She was a protector, a goddess of perfume, a guardian of Lower Egypt, a vengeful goddess, and the divine mother of the Pharaoh.
Today, Bastet's spirit continues to grace the world, casting her protection over the modern cats, protecting households, and individuals from disease and evil spirits. She is honored for her nurturing, protective, and destructive capacities.
