The Story of Lacye A. Brown
The Artisan Alchemist
Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Lacye’s youth was marked by turbulence, with art as her healthy escape. A supportive fifth-grade teacher recognized her potential, allowing Lacye to write freely after completing assignments. By the end of that year, she had written her first novel.
While presenting a façade of a “normal” life, Lacye’s reality was far from it—moving between couches, dorm rooms, and hotels with her mother. Despite these challenges, she pursued her vision of “normalcy,” graduating, going to college, getting married, and having children.
However, normalcy proved elusive. After a difficult divorce, Lacye found herself raising three young children alone. Determined to reshape her life, she transitioned from art gigs to corporate employment, navigating uncertainty and discovering a newfound strength. This period sparked her spiritual awakening and taught her that authenticity, not normalcy, was the key to true fulfillment.
Lacye’s journey led her to explore Shamanism, Munay-Ki, Ayahuasca, Reiki, Hoodoo, and other practices during her global travels.
Leaving the corporate world behind, she founded LAB Shaman, LLC, where she channels her spiritual gifts and lessons to help others grow.
